Our New Radio Show DEBUT was Rockin!

Well , we started our radio show and you can listen to the 15 Min. Segment. It was really fun; no callers yet, but hey, 15 Minutes is hardly enough time to get noticed in this world. We will be manning it daily as the race for President heats up.
Below is the speech I wrote for tonight's show. It's my basic pitch to the American people. Enjoy....DJS

You are looking at a man fighting for the privilege to lead your Nation. Whoever you are, I am the only choice you have to say "Screw the Two Party System!" How many elections are "we the people" going to be manipulated by Big Money? Barack is backed by Chicago Elitists, Hillary is funded by East Coast Liberals, and McCain is reluctantly carrying the entrenched Republican cronies into a battle for the White House. Here I stand, the one average man that will not have a chance to lead unless you support me. How else can I say this? You have lost your ability to select your leader. Two terms with Bush have proven one thing, democracy is barely alive, in a real way!

Thanks for taking the time to hear this appeal to the American people. Can you afford NOT to vote for a third party in this election? The two parties brought you the War in Iraq and double digit inflation. Yet, you still vote for them. With only 34% of the popular vote, the Cool Rock Party can win the Presidency. We are fielding electors in your State right now. With 9 months remaining till the Election, I suggest you consider your options. Currently, America is in the hands of two Parties that have proven to NOT produce a real leader in over 2 decades. Ronald Reagan was as close as a great leader as we have ever known on the Republican side. And JFK would have to be considered the greatest Democratic leader of our time. But, now we are faced with a choice of who can lead this Nation out of despair. Who can galvanize the center and unite both sides of our Nation, to form an even greater party, the Cool Rock Party! Dedicated to Renewable Energy, Jobs, Healthcare Solutions and a Real Solution to the Iraq War.

This is not about experience. It's about change and action. You've heard promises from other candidates that seem vague, with no substantial details. You won't get any vague promises from me; I will spell it out for you in detail now and in the coming months. The economy is number one on my list. We want Congress to pass our Homestead Renewal Act, where people can earn their own home by helping to build homes for other people. We also have a plan to build new renewable energy systems and create an environmental service corp., where we can put people to work in growing industries. As far as health care is concerned, we have a plan to provide basic medical assistance for all who need it, with a $20 Co-Pay. We also want to rebuild the VA with state of the art mobile medical units that can spider out to nearby neighborhoods and give people preventative healthcare. This will rebuild our VA system and alleviate the stress emergency care is putting on our many hospitals in America. And I will spell out in detail what I will do to get our troops out of IRAQ. By helping the Iraqi people build weapons free Safe Zones; we can automate our presence in Iraq and provide their people humanitarian assistance. We would urge the Iraqi government to create a tri-state Federalist Government, much like the one they had before Saddam Hussein became leader. This plan is already being discussed there. I also want to send our top Oil experts to assist Iraq in modernizing their Oil Pumping and Refining capability. The only way all of this can happen, is if our Nation adopts a new strategy in Iraq. I know of no War that has ever been won by embedding troops with the enemy. That is not how War is ever won. The strategy that Bush has taken for the past 6 Years has endangered our troops. I will not do that. I envision downsizing our troops after we set up Safe Zones and automate our presence there. By automation, I mean we can use drone weapons to fight the battle against terror. These weapons, like the Predator, have proven to be extremely effective in stopping terrorists. Second of all, I envision a Safe Corridor from Basra to the Oil Wells north of Baghdad. In this corridor our Army Corp of Engineers can construct a rail line that will shuttle supplies and oil back and forth to the Persian Gulf. It will aslo serve as a defendable border area between Iraq and Iran, helping to maintain Iraq's security. This is my pitch to the American people. In brief, I want to stimulate our Economy, set up a basic Healthcare safety net, and get our troops out of harms way. All the while, I want to build good relations with our Allies and neutralize the threat of Islamic Fundamentalism. We have many more ideas at Cool Rock, but most importantly, our primary goal is to get you, the Voter, involved in your Democracy. Even if you have never voted before, this is your opportunity to build America's New Political Party.
